The vibrant green journal picture didn’t do justice to how delightful the experience was to receive the package. A thick quality gift box containing the green leather journal wrapped in tissue paper. The journal has thick soft velvety paper. The texture is the kind of beautiful high end journals I would get from bookstores. Treat yourself or a loved one to one of these beautiful hardback journals!
This is a lovely notebook that would make a great gift. It comes in an attractive box and the book inside is wrapped in tissue paper. The book has a well sewn binding and it lays flat for easy use. The cover color is deep and rich. The pages are thick enough that a pen will not bleed through. The page rule is more slender than wide rule but wider than college rule and I found it to be a comfortable middle ground for my handwriting. The book comes with the standard elastic band to keep the book closed, satin ribbon to mark your page, and folder over the back end pages. All are well made.The only thing that struck me as strange is that the pen loop comes as a separate piece backed with a sticker so you can apply it to the notebook yourself. When I peeled the plastic backing off my pen loop, the sticker wanted to come off completely. I'm not sure if it will come loose over time but it would be easy to glue it into place if needed.Overall, I'm very happy with the notebook and would recommend it as a gift or for personal use.
