SETTINI® Milano Luxury Ballpoint Pen for Journaling, Gift Boxed, Black

The look and build of this pen reminded me of a pen I used for well over 15 years before the odd pen refills became impossible to find and I had to put it out to pasture. It was for the very close similarities in looks and specs I decided to give it a try.In the last 5-6 year interim, I've been getting by with various models of disposable pens eventually settling upon Pentel Impulse BK96 medium as my go to scribe wand. It has a thick stem for grip but the writing head does move which is an annoyance.Weight wise, it is a little lighter than my previous luxury pen but it has good top end balance as you want the top to be heavier than the bottom for hand lean.One flaw is the pen tip extension extends a little too far exposing the tip and part of the barrel. This can cause a slight move/bend when writing. This is a common problem with disposable pens and one of the reasons paying more for a dedicated writing utensil makes sense as you get a firm press and write and consistent flow. The solution is to extend it just enough for the tip before the barrel descends but my previous luxury pen extended just the conical tip.It doesn't write as well as my former luxury pen, but it does write much firmer and secure than any disposable pen I've used recently which means it is working as intended especially for the price.Overall, this is a great entry level dedicated luxury pen for the price.5/5

This pen has a nice weight to it. The lacquer black finish is spotless. The gold parts do not look or feel cheaply made. It is tightly assembled. Writes well.Really pretty perfect. Pens of similar luxury design that cost many multiples of this will have tiny marginal improvements in finish and details over this pen.The box is not remarkable.I recommend this to anyone who needs a heavy shiny luxury pen and does not care about getting a "status symbol" brand or plans to look at their pen with a microscope.

To tell you the truth I was looking for a non expensive pen with a good look. I wanted to give it to one of my clients who is always using my pen...because he "forgets" his. I bought this Settine Milano and, not only looks very good, but also has a very confortable and neat writing. I am very happy with this pen and I am plannig to buy 8/10 more in order to give them to my clients for the Christmas season. Great surprise. Good buying.

Nice looking pen

Muy agradable el lápiz para escribir. De peso ideal. Textura muy agradable. Presencia muy elegante y sobrio. Cómodo para llevar sobre la camisa o en la agenda o cuaderno.Viene en caja muy bonita para regalar. Me encantó.
